Manuel Latruwe offers recipes both timeless and contemporary. We utilize only the finest ingredients: Madagascar vanilla bean, Belgian chocolate, Vita eggs, Alberta milk and cream, fresh local herbs and produce, pure natural Maple syrup, highest quality flour and nuts, European cheeses, French wine. Join us for cappuccino with pain au chocolat, stop by to pick up a freshly baked baguette or a loaf of bread for your family dinner. Celebrating? Manuel Latruwe team will be happy to assist you. We offer a range of over 20 styles of rustic sourdough and classical breads, baguettes and buns. Everything is made on-site, baked fresh in the morning, based on classic European method, using only the finest natural ingredients. We do not use commercial mixes or commercial sourdough starters.
WE MAKE - YOU BAKE!
The Take and Bake pastries and bread idea was born about 15 years ago when our customers from Edmonton, Turner Valley and Lethbridge were asking Manuel to freeze freshly baked products so they can transport them home. Manuel has started to prepare for them partially baked frozen baguettes, then unbaked ready-to-proof croissants...
Now we offer a wide selection of We Make-You Bake! products. Mouth watering flaky croissants, pain au chocolat, cinnamon buns, Belgian waffles, quiches, authentic pre-baked baguettes, gourmet thin crust pizza, croque monsieur, ....
Traditional pure butter "viennoiserie" is one of Manuel Latruwe's specialties. Our croissants and buns are baked freshly every morning using premium ingredients.
